CREYTON SERVES A TASTY CREATION
Creyton's sharp wit has plenty of opportunity to lacerate moneyed snobs.. and with its message that age is no barrier to optimism, hope and happiness, and that everyone should live and let live, Later Than Spring is definitely a feel good experience.

QUALITY FARE
Creyton's play has things in common with (A. R. Gurney's) The Cocktail Hour, not least an indictment of a section of American society.  It is rich in one-liners, some of which Noel Coward or Neil Simon would have been proud to call their own. There is no "happy ending", but a believable resolution of the play's complex convolutions.
